Participation of the URUNANI Africa Network in the Festival of Solidarities at the AFD
On November 7, 2024, the URUNANI Africa Network, represented by the President of Sterna Africa — the network’s focal point in Ivory Coast — took part in a day dedicated to Education for Citizenship and International Solidarity (ECSI). The event was co-organized by the CRID at the French Development Agency as part of the Festival of Solidarities.
Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to discover and engage in a wide range of ECSI activities, including forum theatre with CoTéAct, storytelling sessions with Arsanima, an interactive reverse conference, and radio programming with Making Waves.

The URUNANI Africa Network was also pleased to share the “ECSI Panorama in the Global South,” presented during this gathering co-organized at the AFD with the CRID. Initiated at the beginning of 2024 by the consultation group on Education for Citizenship and International Solidarity (ECSI), coordinated by the French Development Agency, this panorama explores the diversity of educational approaches connected to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in countries partnering with French cooperation initiatives and beyond.
