Official Adoption of the URUNANI Africa Network by the RéZAS for the Coordination of Urunani Burkina Faso
The URUNANI Africa Network was officially adopted during the latest General Assembly of the RéZAS for the coordination and facilitation of Urunani Burkina Faso.
The official launch of the network in Burkina Faso will take place in November 2025 and will welcome the participation of several focal points from across Africa within the network. Similar launch phases are also planned in Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, and Togo in the coming months.
“On March 27, 2025, we had the honor of holding our first Ordinary General Assembly of the year 2025 — a crucial moment to reassess our actions and redefine our direction for the years ahead.
✨ This meeting provided an opportunity to review our achievements throughout 2024, as well as the challenges we encountered. Thanks to rigorous management and the unwavering commitment of our members, we have continued to move forward together while remaining true to our values.
✨ We adopted an ambitious strategic plan for 2025–2029, along with a 2025 action plan and budget, reflecting our determination to support social and community-based initiatives. Every action and every project has been carefully designed to maximize our impact in service of local communities.
✨ We also approved the proposal for the coordination of the Urunani network by the RéZAS, as well as our membership in the African Network for Climate Justice. These new opportunities and partnerships will help broaden our impact and strengthen our commitment to promoting inclusive and sustainable development on an international scale.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who took part in this meeting and acknowledge the continued commitment of our partners. Together, we will continue working toward supportive, responsible, and thriving communities.”
— For the RéZAS,
Hamado Simpore, Coordinator
